The higher is the grade, the bigger is the bonus that the creature receives. There are three grades:

Affixing a Mark Edit

You can affix the mark in the Home location by clicking on the pull menu on the left of the creature's card. You'll see the list of all available marks. Choose the necessary mark and affix it to the creature's card - you'll see the increase in stats or skill on the card.

You can affix any combination of marks to a card in order to enhance the creature's characteristics. You can't affix more than five marks to one card. If you use mark of one type, each successive mark brings less bonus.

Currently, Marks are permanent. They will no longer be lost if defeated. They also cannot be removed.

Marks are awarded as prizes in the Arena. You can also get marks as a bonus for achieving a top player positions in the ranks. Marks are awarded via the gift system, followed by a corresponding notification.
